b. Contact Form

Our website contact form may be your first point of contact with our business. In order to successfully submit your contact form you will need to provide both your email address and telephone number. This information is necessary in order that we can best respond to your communication. When the information is submitted, the website generates an email to both directors of the company. Such emails are regularly deleted when the communication has been dealt with. Your personal data is not held within the website.

Similarly if you make contact with our office by telephone, then you will have consented to us holding your personal contact information. Telephone calls to our office are not recorded.

c. Job Applications

Job applications are advertised on our website and the application process is carried out on an Irish based recruitment company’s website. When the application process is completed, contact information is retained on file where the applicant consents to this, in order to be considered should future job opportunities arise.

d. Card Payment

We offer clients the option to pay an invoice online via debit/credit card through payment provider Stripe. The user inputs their card details into our encrypted webpage (SSL secured). Within this webpage is Stripe’s payment form. On clicking the ‘Make Payment’ button, your details are processed directly by the Stripe payment network. Our website royalcanalfcs.ie does not record/retain any personal information entered on this page. Your Email address/Invoice number/payment amount will be provided to us by Stripe so we can correctly allocate your payment and contact you if we have any queries.

By using our payment service you are deemed to consent to your personal data being processed by Stripe.

Our Use of Personal Information for Marketing Purposes

We do not use any personal information collected through our website for marketing purposes, and you will not be added to a mailing list as a result of such contact.

We do operate a mailing list for clients to obtain certain information relevant to their business. Consent is obtained from our clients prior to being added to the mailing list.

Our Disclosure of Your Personal Data and Other Information

We are not in the business of selling your information. We do not transfer your personal information to third parties without your express written consent, unless there is a legal obligation to do so.

Information may be shared between Royal Canal FCS and related internal business Ronan Duffy & Co., depending on the type of service being sought.

Erasure of Data

We periodically erase personal data from our network when the purpose for keeping it no longer applies. Where you have purchased a service from us, we are obliged to keep records for Revenue purposes for up to 6 years.
